Kevin always knew he wanted to be a tattoo artist. As a North Carolina native, he began his career as a body piercer in 1996. Beginning his tattoo apprenticeship under the world famous Bill Claydon, Kevin spent the next 4 years honing his craft before setting out to travel the country. He worked in Las Vegas, Denver, Mobile, and then finally Richmond under the guidance of Billy Eason. It was here that he learned more about the business side of tattooing--organizing conventions, writing articles for popular magazines, and managing multiple shops. After years of traveling the convention circuit, Kevin decided to return to North Carolina and back to where it all began at Bill Claydon's Tattoo World. Kevin spent the next 12 years here before making the journey to DC to start anew in 2021.
