Tattoo AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be at least 18 years of age to get tattooed at any Fatty’s location.

ID REQUIREMENT

You must present a state or federal ID in order to receive tattoo services at Fattys. Here are the forms of ID we accept:

• Valid government issued ID card
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Military issued ID card
• Permanent Resident Alien ID card

PIERCING AGE REQUIREMENT

We now offer all ear piercing services to minors (under 18) at our Washington DC locations and continue to offer a larger selection of minor piercing services at our Silver Spring location.

You must present a state or federal ID in order to receive piercing services at Fattys.

• Valid passport
• Military issued ID card
• Permanent Resident Alien ID card

MINOR (UNDER 18) PIERCING ID & DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS 

Fatty’s offers most types of ear piercing services for minors out of our Washington DC locations.  We offer a wider range of piercing services for minors out of our Silver Spring MD location. A parent or guardian must present one of the ID types (listed above) for themselves, the minor’s federal or state issued ID (listed below) AND the minor child’s original birth certificate (certified copies accepted). Failure to present proper ID for all parties may result in the loss of your service reservation fee. Minors must be able to verbally consent to the procedure and must show respect to their parents/guardians and the piercer while at Fatty’s. All minor piercings are done at the discretion of the piercer.

Here are the acceptable forms of ID for minors (under 18) we accept. Minor must present a birth certificate (certified copies accepted) in addition to one of the following:

• Valid government issued ID card
• Valid passport
• Permanent Resident Alien ID card
